LactobacilIus Acidophilus and Bifidobacterium bifidum are bacteria that are both important to and compatible with the digestive system.They may assist in reducing gas forming bacteria in the intestinal system by helping to limit fermentation and putrefication formed by the ingestion of food.
Most commonly used probiotic, or "friendly bacteria" which help improve gastrointestinal function, boost the immune system, provide relief from indigestion and diarrhea. Also helps control the growth of the fungus Candida albicans preventing yeast infections.
Acidophilus Bifidus may be considered an aid to digestion for people who are lactose intolerant and are restricted in their diet of normal diary products.
