Q: Are Optimal Essentials products safe with my prescribed medications?
A: If you are taking any regular prescribed medication it is always advisable to check with your Health Care Professional first. However, our products are derived from food and are foods in themselves with no synthetic vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, additives or preservatives and would have virtually no interaction with medications as would your dinner.
Q: Why do you only make Optimal Essentials products in powder form?
A: We only make our products in powder form because our products are food, not synthetic, to help you absorb as much of the nutrient as possible. Tablets and capsules are nowhere near as good at introducing nutrients into the body. Apart from the work the stomach and the digestive tract has to do in breaking down the tablet or capsule our products are not heat treated as are synthetic vitamin pills. The amount of heat generated in pressing a tablet or capsule denatures the enzymes, vitamins and minerals as well as the pro-biotics in any formula which makes the ingredients even harder to absorb. Most of the tablet or capsule you take ends up as expensive urine! Optimal Essentials products don’t - you get all the superfood nutrients.

Q: Can I sprinkle my Optimal Essential products on my breakfast cereal or mix them in juice or milk?
A: It is really best to mix Optimal Essential powders in water for best results as they are food so by mixing in water you reconstitute them back into their most natural form as nature intended, which is then easily absorbed and digested by you as well as increasing the effectiveness of the pre and probiotics and the starch resistant natural fibres. You can mix with juice if you like or milk, soy milk, rice milk, goats milk, but sprinkling directly on your breakfast cereal is not the best way to get all the amazing vital nutrients our products.
